Region of Guadalajara has nothing to envy to other provinces of Spain. Here we can find wonders of nature that few people know.
The eastern part is quite unknown for most of the Spanish and has some of the best treasures as nature places.
In the map below I present the general index of hiking trails that will explain in my website where you will find truthful information as to overcome these challenges.
There are all levels and are marked in different colors depending on the difficulty entailed either.
If you click on the map you can see the exposed routes that I have done.
If you press here you will see the topographic map classified by the areas of the region.
We begin with the ascent to the grindstone. It starts from the people of the town that gives results in the name of "La Muela".
The rise is asphalted and the difficulty is moderate although it is very short since they are only 2 km.
After arrival at the top we can see a booth in the middle and a large wooden ramp.
This is there placed for lovers of paragliding since the town is famous for this type of sport.
In fact part of the Spanish Association of Paragliding and has a learning center.
A part for about 50 euros we can practice with a monitor mode.
There is also usually airplane modelling fiends who bring their prototype aircraft or purchased drones to test its power and its technical performance.
That is because the place has optimal conditions visibility and wind so that they can prove to the maximum.
Once we made the ascent to back down the same path we came to start climbing the Tusk mountain which is displayed just behind Alarilla.
We can take advantage to take some pictures as I myself have posted on this website.
Ascension to the Tusk is more difficult because the slope is greater risk but there is none if we draw on the safe side.
There is no way but there are not too many rocks or stones so you can prevent the rise. From the Tusk the views are better and you can see the complete view of "La Muela".
