Working in Tres Cantos

End of May I began to look for a job in Spain and I found some offers, I decided to work for a short project to update a underground line of Madrid for Siemens. That was the 5 line where there will be updated all the security systems. I was working for a French company that do this kind of short term projects. Life in Tres Cantos

Tres Cantos is a town big than has done a big rise of population in the last years due to a massive expansion of the industrial area. There you can find a lot of different companies in different sectors like automobil, railway or aerospatial, most of them international. In addition there are also pharmaceutical and medical companies and media corporations like movistar+ or Prisa. There are also construction corporation like Grupo San Jose as big group.

Due to this business area and be near Madrid and at same time near to the mountains it is clear of pollution. That is why is one of the towns with more quality of life in all the Madrid region. Tres Cantos is a new project of town with a big green area inside, where the forest it is nearly virgin and since there the town has expanded outside. This park actually represents a quarter of the total surface of Tres Cantos.

In addition the town has a lot of sport installations and gyms, both public and privates with very good prices. It has two outdoor and two indoor swimming pool, a sports Hall and a running tracks area very good keep.

There are not incidents about security and the town is very clean. The medium profile of a citizen of this town with a superior studies and a salary over the national medium is a important factor. Therefore the high price of renting houses even 50 km far from the center of Madrid, and the price per meter square is similar to a lot of places of the capital.

Talking about parties and nightlife there are barely activity arriving to be a familiar town where the majority of the events are during the day. There are a lot of terraces and restaurantes near the business and residential areas.

Movistar + media en Tres Cantos

Is there when it is PRISA group and therefore Movistar+ channel where it is organize LATE MOTIV, one of the more followed TV shows from youtube. This program is presented by Andreu Buenafuente and where they act ones of the best spanish comedians. My fauvorites are Berto Romero and Javier Coronas who is for me one of the best in the last 5 years. I saw him when they invited me to go to the show.

This for me would have been a plus to live in Tres Cantos, to be able to see the programs live.
